Default y7/y8 conversion misfiring and has engine surge at light throttle

Wats up everybody well I recently did a y8 head swap onto a y7 block along with the manifold and everything about a month ago.. wired up vtec solenoid and pressure switch along with a ks to a p2p a34 ecu with the stock harness just added a few wires. Well it had seemed to be running fine and strong with the exception of the high idle from the iacv rewire ...up until I had an exhaust put on about 2 weeks ago 2.5 in. Piping with no cat so no 2ndary o2 neither but was never a problem prior..since then I've been having an intermitent engine surge during light throttle along with poor performance and a bad misfire but not always it only seems to happen during the warm afternoons never during cool mornings or nights ...if I go w.o t the problem seems to go away but still sluggish performance ...ive changed the plugs wires cap and rotor along with a new 02 sensor and fuel filter is there anything else that could cause this to happen I've checked timing and all seems well but not 100 percent cuz I couldn't get the crank pulley off during swap just hit it with the timing light after and everything checked out .is there anything else that it could be ...
