so i borrowed someone's picture and circled the part i have a question on. i bought a new connector piece shown here (between the metal fuel line on the car and the fuel pump in the tank), mine was mangled up. my question is what does the fuel line on the car look like that connects to this piece? like, is it just a basic flare this piece snaps on to? or is it more vehicle specific than that. the reason i ask is someone mutilated the fuel line on my car with multiple compression fittings and this standard GM fuel line connector. my plan was to cut, reflare, and install a new metal line. i want to make sure this isnt something that i would need to buy this metal line brand new from acura.
