Hello not 100% sure this is where i should post but.

I've been having a problem with my 94 civic with a d16z6. It is just cranking and not wanting to start. I have had a buddy come and look into this with me and we are at a dead end. We have checked the grounds, we do know that its getting fuel, not receiving spark. Tested for fuel by fuel pump operation, fuel pressure regulator check, and spark plug foul check. The main relay is operational. We aren't 100% about power to distributor.

If anyone could think of anything that could be the problem it would be helpful.

Are you getting spark? A lot of times in the distributor the ignitor coil goes out or fails. If your cap and rotor is good I'd suspect it would be the ignitor unit.

 

Not every time. Which sounds weird but first when it started doing this. 2,3,4 were getting spark. 1 wasn't. now no spark on any

 

Probably distributer it has 3 cam sensors in it to sense signal and usually at least one always go bad it's really common. Byou could also take the hold down bolts out for it and try twisting the distributor and see if it changes spark at all
