That plug connects to the rear wire harness as seen in the service manual screenshot you posted. That harness starts at the under-dash fusebox and then runs under the carpet between the driver seat and the driver door sill, so start by looking for cut wires under there. If you don't see anything there you'll need to go back further, which requires removing the interior plastic.

Since there are still stubs attached to the plug, it might be as simple as just finding the same colored wires in the rear harness and hooking them up.

I found and re-attaced four of the five wires you see in the first picture because like you said I looked at the stubs and found the corresponding wires. After doing so I have two cut wires but one stub left that is so short their is no more colored wire only the cooper wiring. I ll try and get a picture of the two wires. Maybe someone knows which of the two it is.

How exactly are you reconnecting these wires back together? How do you have 2 cut wires with one stub left? And what are those last 2 pictures of? Those are pictures of 2 different sets of wires or what?

I went to the junk yard and pulled a dash fuse plug and depinned it. This way I had wires that would go back into this plug in an OEM style. I then twisted the ends together and used heat wrap/shrink wrap to keep them secure. I dont know why I have two wires left and one stub. It makes me think i might be missing another stub. That's why I asked for a picture of the wires that go to the back of this specific plug. The last two pictures are of two different wires. One that runs from the back of the car (rear harness) and one thats coming from what seems to be the headlight harness. What's tripping me out is that the wires I reattached seemed to come from the same area as the wire that looks like its coming from the headlight harness. Maybe I need to look further and see if they double back to the rear harness and if in fact that wire that looks like its from the head light harness is or is it coming from the rear harness.

Chill with the bumps...

I'd post a picture of mine but it's a 99' so has slightly different wiring and wouldn't really help anything. Start trying to trace the wires to the plug in the service manual, you should be able to find a PDF of it if you don't have it already.

Turns out that the black wire that turns red in the first picture was just a wire feeding power to a tweeter. I finished up the tuck. If anyone finds themselves in this same situation my advice is to trace the wires back to its origin. Thanks for everyones help.
