Default tire size

how low profile do i need my tires for 17s? n my car is slammed... i cant even fit the honda jack stand under my car unless i drive up a couple 2x4s...

Use 205/40R17 or 215/40R17

yeah a 225/45/17 will rub on an 7.5 or 8 inch wheel. i'm on 17x8 tsw hockenheim r's with kyb agx/ eibach sportline and a 225/45/17 potenza re-730, and i get rubbing every so often.

well you should be using 225/40/17
i'm using 225/45/16 and never get any rub.
215/40/17 or 225/40/17 would be ideal for a 5th gen.

the re730's don't come in a 225/40/17 or else they would be on the car. but i figured, why have 8 inches of wheel if you don't use it all. love those 6 grand drop and go's.
