Well im turboing my b18b1 in my 95 integra LS this summer. Its got 160,000 original KM's on it. Always run motul synthetic since I bought it about 3 years ago. All maintenance is always up to date. Burns a small amount of oil but what Honda doesn't... Heres my list. Pretty much using a greddy 18G kit. Im looking for around 250hp or so. So nothing to crazy. Any ideas/info would really help as im new to the turbo scene

greddy cast manifold
greddy intercooler & piping/hoses/ clamps
greddy blow off valve
440cc injectors

Tune wise I haven't decided yet...

I do have a exedy stage1 clutch to go in as well

 

go search the Honda Tech website via Google in order to look at additions that are needed on the gritty kit to see that horse power level if you desire. The reason for this is, that in order to get over 250 wheel horsepower, you may need to have some adjustments in hardware.

If all the photo links in my build thread from TeamIntegra were not broken I would link you lol. But I think you may want to ditch the oil lines that come with the kit and look into swapping the inernal wastegate for a better unit or adding a helper spring. The oil line is like a -6 or something, I would be afraid of over oiling.

Everything else, injectors, clutch, tune you're there. 250whp took 12lbs when I had it.

 

You're going to need bigger injectors...

 

Ya I was thinking I might need some 440cc injectors as well a maybe a new fuel pump. The walbro 255?

As for horse power id be happy in the 220 range. Is the 18G a good turbo for the b1?

I was just going to do n/a oriented bolt ones but I can piece a turbo kit together for not much more

Is there anything else recommended that I change motor wise. Ive always kept up on maintenance (Tunes ups, oil changed, timing belt, etc etc)

 

18g isn't bad, it'll spool up pretty quick and be perfect for a low hp street setup. Personally whenever I boost an engine I upgrade to arp headstuds. I would also recommend upgrading to an adjustable fuel pressure regulator.

 

Good to know as it is my daily driver. I don't beat the crap out of it either!

ARP's and a new head gasket I guess eh.

If the motor is healthy no reason to replace headstuds for sub 300whp. Also dont understand why you recommend the fuel pressure regulator

Leaves more room for the future
