It goes where?
I can't find this anywhere in my books or alldata.
Where the top radiator hose attaches to the head, there is another hose underneath it.
That hose is about 3/8" or 10mm, it routes thru some tubing and then connects under the throttle body. From there it is routed behind the throttle body to a denso device of some sort of another.
Anybody know what the heck this is?
I'm moving these hoses around and wonder what the heck it is. It's got water in it.
Thanks!

It leads to the iacv.
edit: in detail.
From the radiator inlet the small nipple leads to a metal pipe, from the metal pipe it leads to the FITV (if this is the obd1 engines), from FITV to IACV, from IACV to water log.

I appreciate the response. This 90 Integra is obd-0.....and I don't know the acronyms. iavc? or fitv?
I can't even find these acronyms in my book, or on this forum. Everybody uses them, but rarely states what they mean.
Thanks!

I found this. I think it explains what I'm wondering about.
"The IAC valve is supplied heated water, via two small coolant hoses, to keep the valve from developing ice ..."
So IAVC....what, Idle Air Control Valve?
Except my '90 has one 3/8" hose supplying the heated water.

I'm a lucky dog. I just went to undo the fuel regulator and found it loose, so loose there was no torque. It was just touching the fuel rail, that all.
If I'd gone very many more miles without changing the fuel rail, it surely would have caught on fire.
Lucky?
I'll just say blessed. It wouldn't have hurt me, but I love my little Integra.
...and thank! The info is appreciated.

Yes, however there's only one on mine coming off the water jacket on the head. There another where it connects behind the throttle body, but it goes off behind the engine somewhere else. It's a 1990, and I'm sure Acura must've changed the layout at some point.
