Is the bolt on my 08 I4 a left or right handed threaded bolt? I don't want to snap it trying to get it off. Does it follow the maxim lefty loosy righty tighty?

 

Lefty-loosey, righty-tighty. If they are anything like the V6 crank bolts they are very tight. I used a gigantic impact to remove mine, after repeated attempts with a 500ftlb ingersol rand 1/2" drive impact failed. I almost destroyed a holding tool trying with a breaker-bar. A VERY STRONG impact gun is the best way.
