Default Civic Suspension Components

I am putting in new struts and springs. I already purchased 4 new Monroe OESpectrum Sensa-Trac Struts. I am purchasing Eidbach Pro-Kit lowering springs. What alll other components do I need? I know I need the Strut Mounting kit. Are there any bushings or any other components I need? Do you recommend the Monroe Strut-Mate Strut Mounting Kit? Also do you recommend replacing anything while I am in there?

I really appreciate it thank you!

You should go with Koni STRT instead of the Monroe parts.

You don't really need upper mounts if you already have some.

I don't recommend Monroe anything, if you can return them I would highly suggest that you do. Your car does not have struts, and consequently doesn't have strut mounts. It does have shock mounts, which aren't the same thing, there's no bearing in them, just a metal plate with a piece of rubber between the plate and the spring, they're very much reusable. Koni makes great shocks, especially for lowering. KYB Excel-G (these used to be GR2s) or Tokcio HP (blue) are a decent replacement OEM replacement shock that will take up to a 2" drop or so before you start to see problems.

Do you recommend the Koni sports or the SRT struts? Also would you recommend the Koni sports kit over the Koni struts with Eidbach pro-kit springs?

A year ago I bought a set of Koni STR's struts (front) and shocks (rear) with H&R Springs for my Mazda 3. Cost $485 from Tuner Sports. great street setup.. no issues since purchase.

scroll down to Honda Civic...$436.73 Shipped. Also call the owner and ask for his best discount.. might get another 10 to 15% off.
