98 civic ex - battery dies every night
I just bought a 98 civic and my battery dies every night I bought a new one and same thing so I checked the fuses and there goods can someone please tell me what to check next
Verify if your alternator is charging the batter, verify the ground cable on battery, verify you have no sound system constantly powered on.
Clean your battery terminals.
Clean all your ground contacts.
Test your ignition coil and ignitor: https://honda-tech.com/honda-civic-d...blems-2919450/

OP's first post is vague: "battery dies every night I bought a new one and same thing"
How many nights in a row is every night?
Did he use a charger to charge it "every night" before he purchased a new battery?
How does he start his car the next day if the battery is drained every prior night?
He probably has a trunk light that stays on all the time.. Easy way to check the alternator is while the car is in idle (engine running) pull the positive cable off the battery.. if the engine keeps running then alternator is good, if it dies alternator needs replacement. Who knows if the turds at autozone or wherever checked the alternator correctly.
