Need help 93 hatch b18b1 stall problem
B18b1 obd1, map tuned p28 fresh ecu brand new dizzy, randomly at light car stalled, I cranked on it it started went to get gas it would not start. I got it to start by cranking and playing with the gas let off it would die once it got going it was fine. Next day starts fine drives fine. I go to work as I'm sitting in idle it shuts off. I crank it hard to start giving it gas I heard a noise nothing I ever heard and some smoke came out my air intake from tb restarted it completely fine no valve noise no bottom end knocks. Last week idle went up and down but ecu is set for 800 rpm idle this was after I stopped at a light. Is this my Intake temp sensor or my iacv?? Reminder it does the stall randomly.
Double check all timing, the distributor rotor for play, and verify the throttle blade closes and isn't bent. Most likely the tune is **** and needs to be reworked, but hard to say if you playing with the throttle caused the backfire or there is a mechanical issue.
Broke down today engine shakin idled at 100-200 would not rev up at all oil light come on oil is good I'm clueless started right up after few times and everything was good. No knocks nothing
It could be a ton of things man... ignition control module (igniter), fuel pump, mechanical issue like jumped timing, etc... You need to do some checking of your own and describe things better. What is your wideband reading during the issues?
I have no wide band. It is running rich other than it randomly stalling down to 100 rpm I heard a winding noise hit throttle rpm won't move. Once I restart it a few times it runs fine I was thinking tps? Throttle is okay no vac leaks plugs wires good brand new dizzy. Cleaning iacv now. Checking module in dizzy later my only thought is oil pump fuel pump, filter or guy advanced timin on chip to high but it's been two weeks since tune just started happening fuel pressure on my regulater is steady.

Either post videos or explain things in more detail - how did you check things you say are good? What are your compression and leak down test results? What is your oil pressure at cold idle? Hot idle? Cruising? WOT? Why do you think you are running rich? Sometimes engines take a while to let go from a bad tune. They don't exactly just explode as soon as the tune is loaded........
