car randomly dies, doesnt like to start in the morning
hey i got a 1993 civic sedan that i swapped a b16a2 into a few months ago, stock with bolt ons, running on a p61 ecu obd1, and my car has a low idle sometimes and randomly dies if im backing out of parking spaces. like after i stop and im putting it into first gear it has a really low idle and sometimes dies. it has also died on me when im sitting at a stop sign. it doesnt do this very often and it starts right up after im just wondering wat it could be? i cleaned out my iacv, throttle body, any other ideas as to wat it might be? it also doesnt like to start up in the morning when its cold, it will start but the idle will die right away unless i give it gas. i will have to give it gas for a minute or so but then it will be fine. other then that it runs fine when im driving, pulls really hard. can anyone help me?

i already tried adjussting the idle screw and that didnt help at all, and yeah i got a knock sensor code so i either have a bad sensor or a bad connection to it as far as i know

no the i dont think that the fitv has any interference with the ecu, becouse there is no electrical connection, but im not 100% sure

Right, the FITV has no electrical connection, but the ECU may require an FITV to help maintain proper idle speed when the engine is cold.
