Okay i checked my cel code got 1 long flash for intake air temp sensor my the sensor is just hanging around so its full of oil since its just hanging i had a high idle so i plugged the vacumm where the iat sensor hose should be i have a y8 intake on a z6 head but i cant find anywhere to mount it any help will be great

What you typed was not an intelligible sentence, it was a blob of words. If we have to try to decipher what your problem is, the only thing you'll get is glazed over eyes as people ignore your thread and move onto the next one. Basic sentence structure and maintaining your train of thought goes a LONG way.

So, instead of putting your IAT sensor where it belongs, you just decided to shove it into some random vacuum line, and you're wondering why you're having problems?

 

I'm not sure what you plugged in for a vacuum line but it isn't the IAT. Here's what you need to do with your IAT (assuming you have a 92-95 Civic).

Lol i plugged where the vacumm line for the iat sensor should be bc i had a high idle and i noticed that it had a leak right their so i plugged it with a hose and a screw since i didnt know what whent their then i looked it up and the iat sensor goes their i have a cel for that but my d16y8 intake manifold has nowhereto mount it thats why im looking for help

 

Post clear pictures of your IAT installation. How many wires does your IAT sensor have and what colors are they?

Post car information.

Did you clean or replace the old oily IAT sensor? Did you clean the oily connector?

Wire colors can be one color or a main color with a stripe. Specify.

 

Yellow with a red stripe and green with a white stripe

Because a member on here instead of being an adult and contacting me posts a tantrum in my 92-00 Civic wiring swap thread and then changes his image to that one to get back at me. Guess what Internet archive is my friend so I recovered his image that he posted on a public forum and tried to erase from history. I know he's reading this and in that thread I made a few photos myself and ANYONE is free to use them all they want and I don't need credit because I made them to help and not stroke my ego.
