i have a 97 coupe and first the driver side window got off track and wasnt able to go all the way up. that was $65 to fix. same thing happened to the passenger side few weeks later and then last night the driver side came off again!! has anyone had this sort of problem? its annoying the **** out of me.

 

Yes. Mine came off twice on the driver side. I tore the whole thing apart and could not find any reason why. The only thing I noticed was it seemed like the window was hard to roll up. I lubed both front and rear tracks (where the glass slides) with Armour all and all the rubber that the glass contacts. It has been fine for over three months now and the glass moves way easier.

 

as preventive maintnence you should use some silicon spray in your window tracks, most people that do their own services forget about this
