Default 1993 del sol engine swap advice

Ok here is the scoop. I have a 1993 del sol the engine is a d15b bottom with a jdm d15z1 top i wanna know what should i swap with. I know the d15z1 is a p.o.s. this is what i wanna do i wanna swap with a engine thats resonable and can take a turbo with out problems at 12psi-15psi. Money is a small issue but thats fine i know builds take time and money. My goals are to be able to beat stock mustangs and alot of 350z. Any advice would be great i used to have a 1992 honda accord with a h22 swap with a t3 turbo but i blew that because i didnt know what was the max boost for the engine. This time im asking for advice my goal is 250hp. Money is $7000 -8,000. Let it rip boys

Jesus ****. Did you even try to put an ounce of effort in, or are you really just asking to be spoon fed? Do we have to provide the spoon, too?

PSI doesn't mean ****. No really, it doesn't ******* matter. It's a means to an end, not an "I want this much" number. 10 PSI through a GT15 wouldn't get you ****. 10 PSI through an HX85 would turn your motor into scrap metal. Get PSI out of your head, and forget it even exists. Any Honda motor you want can be swapped into your car. It's all been done. Research. Read. Decide which one you want.

We're here to help. We aren't here to hold your hand through every little detail, and we sure as **** aren't here to tell you how to spend your money. If you had read the rules sticky, and bothered reading to see how things work around here, you would know that.

Im not asking to be spoon fed **** im asking whats a good engine thats cheap to work with and on that i dont have to mod the **** out of everything to have it mounted. I know psi does not meen ****. I am a noob not a troll. My 1992 accord was a pain in the *** to drop the h22 in and needed different mounting brackets and pigtails and cpu and alot of **** just to get it to run. I dont wanna go though a **** ton of problems to do that again. Thats why i asked whats a good engine to drop a turbo on that can take 10-15psi of boost some engine are made for compression some are made just to be raw engine all engines are different. I might be a noob but everyone was at one point and no question is a stupid question. Im just wanting some options to go off. Peoples experiences. Not spoon feeding. Idk what engines have good ratings everyone i know does k20 now these days or j series. But i dont have $17,000 to dump into a car. But w.e. im sorry for being a noob at engine's i can fix them but i dont know **** about the different types/series. All i know is v8,v6,4 banger. Thats it. So plz enlighten me so i can make a desion and get off this board of ******* trolls

All the time wasted posting excuses, when you could have spent that time reading the FAQ sticky and already have an idea. Your budget could get you a mildly built turbo D, or a stock turbo B, or even just buying someone else's already-finished K swap. It's your car, and your money. It's up to you to decide how you want to spend it. That's not what we're here for.

When you have specific, technical questions, and you put in a little bit of effort before jumping straight to the "new thread" button, we can help you. Until then, you need to make your own decisions for things like this.
