anyone know whats wrong when there is squeaking coming from the shocks when going over harder road? does that mean the shock is blown? they are koni yellows.. im not talkin about the shock rocking that some 97-up preludes have either. if anyone can help thanks!

 

could be a number of things kendonesia...

u have the ingalls camber kit right? lube that baby up!

i doubt it's coming from ur koni yellows.....

I had that problem on my old Prelude, a good expensive Coilover fixed that problem for me!

 

If you have the polyurethane camber kit then this would most likely be your problem. I am not too familiar with the squeaky shock sound problem that you mention about the prelude, but a good lubricant such as Wurths HHS2000 spray should do the trick.

 

my koni yellow's squeak from day one. i think its normal.

 

Hmm, mine never did on either of the cars I had them installed on.

 

I cant hear them squeak unless, i have the trunk lining carpet removed and the pass through down. But when i have the pass through up, i think only the passengers in back could hear it squeak.

Since the teg is a hatch, you might be able to hear it.

 

My KONIs squeek at the top from using urethane bushings.
