Default Manifold Gasket

Hey Guys....just received my replacement Manifold, for my 1998 civic......360K and still great.....anyway the lower gasket i received is about a 3" circle........it looks like I need a gasket that has 3 stud holes with 2 smaller holes in it.........can you shed any light on this for me?

Thanks in advance

Rick

Post pictures of it.

Usually the gasket is two rings (the two small circles) that fit into grooves in the manifold. If this is an aftermarket manifold, it may take a gasket that goes around the three studs.

Thanks for the quick reply......the gasket that came with the Manifold is about 3" in Diameter. If I need 2 smaller one they would be about 1 1/2" in diameter. I've just now found some on ebay.........called "Exhaust Header Down Pipe Manifold Gasket" which I have not been able to find locally. Also found some nice chrome headers for less that i paid for the stock replacement one......but i dont want to redo the entire system........

I may need to just pull it apart and see if i need them? do you have any experience?

The gaskets sit flat, almost flush with the flange. Can you snap a picture of it? There's a good chance the gaskets are actually in place, but you don't realize they're gaskets.

Wait, you haven't pulled it apart, you're just assuming it was assembled without a gasket in it? Huh?
