Can't set TPS within spec
'02 DC5 type-R, stock TB. Just replaced the TPS for a bwr TPS because I couldnt get the TPS within spec.. nothing changed tho. If idle set at .48 the WOT is 4.90.. any ideas what can cause my TPS to be so far off? I'm not gonna mess with the throttle screw since that will open up the throttle plate too much.

manual says it should be 4.5WOT. read at the forums that as long as it doesnt exceed 4.8WOT its fine..
Since I have some hessitation problems and rpm rises after coming to a stop with the clutch in I think its due the TPS not within spec.. I checked and cleanend IACV, replaced IM and TB gasket, checked for vacuum leaks..

As long as it doesnt reach 5v its fine. 4.90 is acceptable,if it weren't the PCM would code for high voltage. I'd start looking else where for your drivability problem.

Honeslty with that car, it could be a hundred different things. Need to hook a scanner up to it and get some data to analyze, to lead you in a specific direction.....
