Help Setting Civic TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) can't find balance
Okay so I want to set my TPS but no matter what I do I can't find a balance.
I can set it to 4.5 WOT (Full throttle...BUT it makes my idle super high (4K+) and at over .06V (20ish TPS)
When I set my CT (closed throttle) to .05 (I made sure to make it the lowest setting on the adjusting bolt) but it will only let me set my WOT to about 4.2 V
I have my RPM's at a good setting my TPS is at 8 and a little over .5 V but I cannot figure how to get it to 4.5 without having a high idle...
I'm thinking maybe my IAC is too high ( what voltage should it be?) could this be the problem?
Thank you so much!!!

Set the TPS to 0.5V at closed throttle. The closed throttle voltage is most important. Then the WOT voltage should around 4.5V. Exactly 4.5V is not necessary.
If you still have a high idle problem, then that's a separate issue, such as a dirty IACV, vacuum leak, or intake air leak.

What's this obsession with starting new threads? This is not one of those cases where it pertains to the OP or a specific point in time.

you may have a vacuum leak .
i have the same problem when my Idle jump at 2000rpm . when i fit the leak it go down to 750 rpm

Do you want me to keep going, or can you just accept the fact that it's against the rules, and go back to lurking?
