It's leaking exactly like in the picture below that I found online. I found a TSB for 5th gen Accords with this exact problem and the remedy was to replace the pump cover seal. The TSB calls for removing the pump off the car but is this necessary? Can't I just remove the 4 flange bolts and swap out the seal?
I also have a leak where the return hose meets the cooler line below the reservoir so I'm also going to take care of that. Interestingly, the pump isn't noisy and the fluid isn't foamy. I guess the pump hasn't started sucking in air...yet.
**** no its not easy to do it on the car!!! no ******* way!!!!! better to do it on the table then open that up and have all the gears fall out and have no clue which way they go!!!. don't be lazy. 4 bolts total to remove. and one clamp on the hose
