Icon6 Passenger Side Window Stuck

Hello guys and gals! I have an 02 Accord Ex 2DR. I rolled the passenger window all the way down the other day from the driver side and then it never came back up. When i attempt to move it up or down all that happens is a little clicking from the passenger side window switch. If i try to roll it up with the passenger side window switch there is no noise or anything and it doesn't roll back up. Anybody have any ideas?

It sounds like they're power windows, check fuses first! Then next step is to remove the door panel and inspect the regulator and window track.

Suggest you work backwards.

Start by putting pwoer and ground directly to the window motor to verify it is working.

If it is, hope you have a volt meter and a bit of time. It is not hard to follow the circuit, it just takes a bit of time.

I know it's not the regulator, I replaced that about two years ago. I'm thinking it's the switch. Hopefully dirty contacts or not enough electrical grease.

What's the best way to get just power and ground to it? Should I pop off the master side switch?

There are several ways....a long piece of wire from the + side of the battery. Ground can be applied with another piece to the body (unpainted surface is best).

Also, you can get a continuity tester, take off the door panel, unplug the wires to the motor, hook up the tester, operate the switch, and see if the tester lights up. If it does, straight wire the motor and see if it works.
