Default Super annoying squeaking?

Have 92 cx hatch and it's been pretty cold in Colorado lately, some days have been warm some cold, but last night it was light snow, but my 92 cx hatch has been having a really annoying squeaky sound on the front brakes and it's really bad, I press on the brake and the squeaking starts happening, and sometimes when I'm just siring simply the squeaking comes, I took the tires out and hit the brakes and brake pads a little with a hammer so they wouldn't scratch and the next day the squeaking was almost gone, then the next day they came back which was earlier today, anyone help?

I'd look at the caliper guide pins, make sure theyre oxidation/contamination free and lube them, secondly check your pads and make sure you're not hearing the wear indicators. beyond that, more specific information would help a diagnosis (all stock brakes/ what modifications have been made...etc.).

You need to buy or locate the 92-95 Factory Service Manual.

It's painfully apparent that you are not familiar with the proper mechanicals or lubrications needed for the car.

The Factory Service Manual will provide you with all the information you need to troubleshoot, maintain and fix your vehicle.

Brake lube. You can buy little ketchup packets of it at your local parts store for next to nothing. Get that, and lube your slider pins. Also put a little bit of it on any parts where the pad backing contacts the caliper. Do not get it on the face of the pad, or on the rotor!

While you're down there, make sure you aren't rubbing the wear bars. They'll cause a loud squeak/squeal/scream noise whenever you hit the brakes when your pads are dangerously low.
