My driver door window regulator went out so I replaced it with the dealer part. Now, the window goes down OK, but when going up it binds about half way up. I've dry lubed the front/rear upper/lower tracks with teflon which helped but didn's solve the problem. I've also adjusted the two bolts that attach the window to the regulator since the holes are horizontal oval but that didn't fix it. When it's going up about half way the window rotates to the rear (counterclockwise as you sit in the seat) and binds. If I reach inside the door and push up on the rear part of the window then it will go up. I don't want to wreck my new regulator with too much resistance. Any ideas about what's going on?

 

Got it. While taking the old regulator out the window came out of the lower rear track. Once back in it's working fine.
