Compression 240 psi across the board.
Stock internals
dual valve spring with titanium retainers
Skunk2 intake
440c injectors (had them laying around)

Electronics
Chipped P28 ecu
No codes
Typical sensors turned off like 02

Has spark (gap set at .050)
Timing is correct (checked over and over again)
Compression is correct
40-45 psi fuel pressure

When cranking the injectors have 10.x volts on yellow/black wires

Does it matter if the ecu isnt mapped for the 440cc injectors?

In do have the resister box hooked up

Yes, the ECU needs to be mapped for the 440cc injectors. Measure the resistance of the 440's... if the OHM reading is between 2 and 4 ohms, then you need the resistor box. If the OHM reading is between 10 and 16 ohms, you must bypass the resistor box.

The plugs should be soaked in gas... if they aren't, then you need to check the inlet at the fuel rail. You mentioned fuel pressure: my question to you is where is the gauge located ??? If it is on the fuel filter, what that means is you have 45 psi there... but not necessarily at the injectors. Make sure that the fuel line between the filter and the rail has the larger opening facing the pulse dampener and you have the larger forked washer in between the two... not a standard crush washer. This is a common mistake on EF's.

 

Did you convert the DX harness to MPFI yourself? When you turn the ignition (not to start) does the check engine light come on for 2 seconds then turn off?

 

They're all 2.5 ohms. The resistor box is installed. The only thing I've done with the fuel rail was remove it from the integra that it was in and put it on this engine again. So from the fuel rail to the fuel filter I never took it apart.

Anyways I have no idea what a forked washer is. All I want the thing to do is fire, will it do that if it's not mapped for the 440?

Yes I wired the mpfi myself with a obd0- obd1 dpfi to mpfi harness. The light stays on due to a vtec code now.

 

And if it did run with the 440s not mapped would it be lean or rich?

 

Anyone have specs for what the two prongs going to the injector should read?

 

She fired with some starting fluid. Officially no injector pulse (tested with noid light)

Tips on fixing it?
