I wouldn't bother with nitrous or even building the the motor with all those parts. You will probably need pistons and rings, but not the rods or sleeve. Seals and maybe valve guides on the head. Port and polish if you want to spend more money there. Maybe some cams and get a good exhaust. Lightweight flywheel, lightweight wheels and tires the car will fly. Reliable too. Put the interior back in it. Unless you are building it for a track monster, then carry on.

Meant to update I picked it up it's looking better than I thought I already broke it down I'm going to stay stock sleeve just hone it I'm gonna get eagle h beam rods and I think ctr pistons I mite end up boosted one day so gonna get them now just gonna slap a bwr block guard into (better save then sorry) and I'm looking into skunk2 turner cams which if I get skunk2 cams should I stay skunk2 springs retainers and well stock valves be fine? I want to turn 8500-9k and never have to worry. Going to get a catch can set up to help vent block I'm not hurting for money I'm 18 little bills making pretty darn good money plans for the car are to track it and mtn roads I daily it for now but that will change I go to automotive school so I can do most of work on it there

No way man.. build that b16! you can beat the god damn sh*t out of b16's
If you're going to sleeve and spend that money, go big, 85mm. with the right air flow and build you can bang 10k all day long.

I'm still thinking hard on sleeving it this is my first b16 but not my first time building a motor I can do all the work except machining my school don't have that kinda stuff so I'mma save tons on labor you think the stock sleeves could handle it ? If so I won't worry about it. This isn't a build like I gotta get it done soon I got nothing but time on this but you know with any build you want it in ASAP to have fun I got another year at school and the plan is to have it done and swapped in before I'm out

I don't think you realize how much all of those parts are going to cost you. Went from a sleeved block to a BWR block guard? Either way sounds like you're in high school and I don't want to be negative but any photos of all of this build happening. I'd just read a LOT more if I was you

Not in high school but yes I do relize the cost of all I want to do and yes I did go from sleeving to block guard because my goals can be done without sleeving and I still feel good on running it who knows I still mite sleeve it. But about the cost of all this I'm mostly paying to just the parts not labor or any of the the only thing I can't do at the school I go to is sleeving the block and I've already talked to the guy and it's not to bad for him to do it I just got to decide if I want to sleeve or not I guess that was one of reason I made this post was to see what everyone else thinks

If you are sleeving it, you better go over 500 HP. Anything less and I'd say it is a waste. For 200 HP, just slap any turbo on it and get it tuned. B20VTECs can make 200 HP these days. NA B16 with 200 HP is a bit of work.

b16 NA?
please do search... plenty of info out there on what to do.

sell the b16 to some noob
you can easily hit 200whp with b20v with 1/3 of the cost it would take to make a 200whp b16 engine.

People are trying to give advise. I wouldn't waste all kinds of $$ building an all motor B16 either. They are peppy, no torque though.

B series engines are cheap these days, find a B18C or even a B20Z. They are larger engines that make more power overall, and even more power can be added to that. I did a B20 a couple years ago, way better performance from it, right out of the box......but, the choice is yours

I mean I understand that b16 isn't good all motor but it's what I got and i looked for five months for a b series there not many honda at all around me I check junkyards all that i finally found this b16 and I picked it up so I'm running with it and again I'm not shooting for high numbers at all anythings better than my stock d16a6 for my driving style and what's local that I drive it's autocross mile and half circuit and I do lots and lots kanjo (hwy runs) so I'm not to worried about high hp I just want a nice set up so later down road when I do go boosted it'll be a hell of a motor so I guess I forgot to say it's not going to stay n/a but will be for a while

Well i would definetly figure out what your power goals are.. if are only want 200-250 no point sleeving a couple members have mentioned that already. if you want more could always go with a css block for half the cost of sleeving it. you can contact jeff over at cnc werx they might have a b16 block there if you dont want to ship your block to him.get your self some forged piston and rods keep comp ratio 10:1 run it na until you get all your turbo kit. as for the head find some nice used itr cams oem valves and super tech springs retainers and new valve steam seals. keep it simple. Good luck with your build keep us posted and make sure to take lots of pics.
