Default Coolant leaking from 94 Honda civic.

I have a 94 Honda civic with the d15 1.5 motor in it. Coolent started leaking last week and it looked like it was coming from the water pump, so I replaced the water pump and timing belt. It is still leaking. It's all over the Alternator and near water pump. Does anyone know where it could be leaking from?

Someone just told me that. But problem I am having is I don't have enough room with intake in way. So I'm taking off intake. I've got all the bolts off except the one in the middle on the bottom. I can't fit a wrench or ratchet down there to take it off. Any other suggestions?

Pull off the thermostat housing and you might be able to wiggle it free enough to replace the o-ring while leaving the manifold in place. Other than that, you're pretty much going to have to go underneath and remove that center nut on the manifold by feel (blind).

I'll try to try the thermostat housing, but as for going underneath I've tried that and can't get around the oil filter and those other tubes and wires.

I believe that no matter what you have to at least unbolt the thermostat housing anyway because it holds the pipe in place. And if the oil filter is in the way, remove it (along with the support brace for the manifold so you can move the wiring a bit more).

Why would I have to remove the thermostat housing when the water pump is on the other side of the motor?

Remove whatever is in the way so that you can access the bolt.

And if you want the best advice, then post many clear pictures showing the bolt you are trying to remove. Do you have the service manual for your car?

No service manual. And it doesn't give me an option for pics

Peek at the Rules sticky. It describes two different methods for posting pictures.

You'll understand when you actually try to remove it, the pipe doesn't go through the opening for the water pump or else I've been doing it completely wrong. My suggestion of the o-ring is based completely on proximity to your problem area and that's assuming that the leak is definitely not coming from the water pump. But just as "RonJ@HT" suggested post pics because at the moment you are your own best eyes. Aside from the o-ring on that pipe, maybe you have a hole on one of the coolant lines back there but no one on here would know without looking/seeing first hand. It's even completely possible that one of the heater hoses or those coolant lines has a leak that just coincidentally is pointing directly at the alternator.
