Coolant leaking overnight...bad water pump?
I have a '94 EX and every morning we noticed a puddle of coolant under the car behind the driver's side tire. I'm suspecting a bad water pump, but the engine never runs hot and it only leaks after the car sits overnight (so it seems). I had this same problem with a '90 Civic Hatch that I owned, but I sold it before I could figure out the problem. Has anyone else encountered this and am I safe in assuming that the water pump needs replacing? I'm currently in the middle of an ISB change on this car and really don't want to go straight into a water pump install after I'm done.

It could very possibly be the water pump. The water pump on my B16 was bad and it never over heated. The ghetto way to finde out is take the timing belt cover off and drive around a little bit. If it throws a lot of **** up on your hood thats prolly what it is. Hope you figure it out.
