so i am replacing my valve cover gasket since last time i did it i did not put any hondabond and now it leaks around the valve cover.
where exactly do i put hondabond? all around the gasket or just on the corners?
and which type of hondabond do i use for this? hondabond 4 or hondabond ht?

 

just a small dab of hondabond ht in the corners where the cam hump is (less is more),be sure to replace the rubber grommets on the holddown bolts as these are what set the tension on the gasket and using old compressed grommets can lead to leaks . also replace the sparkplug tube seals

 

thanks for the help, so i only apply it around the cam hump corners? none on the spark plug seals or on the rubber grommets for the bolts right

 

yes only a very tiny dab right at corner of seal that fits at bottom of cam hump

nothing on plug or bolt seals
