i'm not an expert on the subject, but i just know something about the wieght of normal tranny fluid dosen't work that well in Honda trannies.
i've been told by many to use either Honda mtf or regular motor oil only.

i wouldnt just because honda, honda-tech and all other honda people dont really recomend it. To heavy alsmost normal gear oil.
i dont think the quality would depliate if it hasent been oopened.

dont use that
just buy Valvoline 10-30 oil... thats what honda put in there ( not that brand, but that weight) it will be better... oil doesnt go bad, but its tranny oil , too thin for that engine... u wanna stick with specs i u ask me...

How come people in the states don't use Redline? All the guys in Toronto use Redline, no problem at all, much smoother for shifting, what do you mean by too heavy??
