96 Civic B16A2 swap - wont stay on
1996 civic, b16a2 motor.
So i left the civic sitting for 2 days. After that time, i came to turn on the civic but it wouldn't stay on (was driving normally before, did not do any modifications during the 2 days). The first try, it would stay on for 30 seconds or so and then it'll turn off. Every try after, it will turn on but won't stay on at all. If i leave it for 20 minutes or so and come back and try it again, it'll do it all over again (first try staying on for 30 seconds).
Pin jumped it and codes thrown were Ignition signal output and throttle position sensor.
Checked for distributor for ignition. Replaced all 4 spark plugs to see if it would help, didn't help. Checked for sparks, there were sparks all across. Tried unplugging and replugging ecu. Tried opening throttle a bit while cranking. Sometimes, it will rev up but then die when let go of throttle.

"There were sparks" is borderlining on diagnostically useless. Exactly what color was the spark? Was it the same on all four? You already have two CEL codes to work with - start working on those. Both could cause your problem. Do you have a voltmeter?
Im not sure what color the sparks were cause i was the one in the car cranking it. I tried resetting the ecu before checking for codes. I crank it and then engine revs up and then instantly goes down and dies like its too cold (running e85). Then CEL will flash and give me the codes. Even though im running e85 in the cold, on a normal cold day, it usually turns on within 3 tries max.
Test the igniter unit (code 15) inside the distributor.

Also check whether the TPS (code 7) on the throttle body is disconnected.

If you're running E85 you are running anywhere near a stock setup. Perhaps you want to explain exactly what you have under the hood.
I figured it out. After the car sitting 2 days, i found it that it was cuz some how, the center of the ecu got moist and frozed up. I gently got rid of the ice and tried drying it up with a towel. It runs now but it's like on limp mode, wont rev past 3k rpm. As of right now, im letting the ecu air dry.

After air drying, it runs normally now. The ecu lid was missing the middle screw so there was a hole and im guessing water somehow got into that and froze (winter over here).
