Default f23a1 motor question

I'm looking to put the m2y4 trans out of a prelude on my f23a1 accord. Is there any precautions I should take. And before you say anything yes I know I will get less mileage. TIA

Default Re: f23a1 motor question

I am looking to do the same thing. I am swapping an F23 into my 97 wagon and would love to swap in a 92-96 Prelude Si trans. I want to change out the 5th gear though. I was reading a thread where people were discussing swapping a 98-2001 trans 5th gear into it.

Let me know if you go that route.

I need to get my car up and running so I am actually putting a 5th Gen F22 sedan/coupe trans in instead of the 94-97 wagon trans that came with my car (has a shorter 5th gear compared to the coupe/sedan). I want the better gas mileage.

Gas mileage isn't a concern for me as its a 20minute ride to work and use the wife's car on weekends. But I picked up a m2y4 prelude trans today with 150xxx miles. Hopefully this weekend I can put it in
