Hello everybody,
I'm currently saving up and picking through craigslist for my first Honda. I've been working on cars since I could reach the engine compartment. Most of my experience is with older American vehicles so I'm lurking around to learn as much as I can. So far this is an awesome community.

I've had my car for a couple of months now, I snagged a 93 civic ex off craigslist in Austin.
So far I've just been trying to get her to a reliable state, she's my DD and has been a blast to work on.
It looks like someone let her sit for a couple of years, so far all I've really got left is the transmission bearings and suspension work.
This car has been reliable so far and I love driving it.



I've got a lot of work to do on the exterior, but the car is what I want it to be, a reliable DD that's fun to drive.
Again, this forum has been invaluable in terms of sheer information and helpfulness from the members.
