So here's the story
I have a 97 ex coupe with the y8 second motor I've swapped into it.
So when I got it put back together and got it all running took it for a test drive.
Vtec wasn't engaging, so I though it might be a bad vtec Solenoid so I took another one that I had laying around witch I new for sure was working.
Replaced it, took it for a spin still nothing so then I noticed that my speedo gage wouldn't work time to time and bounced around so I decided to change the VSS and than took it for a drive and vtec starting working after that the car revved to redline and it was all good. Than on the next day I turned the car on let it warm up and went for a spin again and now it won't rev past 5k.
It would just bounce like it's bounces of redline, I though it could be something with the ecu. I had a spare one laying around so I changed the ecu and still it wouldn't rev past 5k.
Any one might now what's up
With it not revving past 5k ?
