will '01 gsr steering pump bolt onto d16z6
hi,
i searched and found bookoo info for d-series pump on b-series motors, but i want to know if anyone know if '01 gsr pump will bolt onto d16z6 ( 95 ex obd1) and function properly with commercially available honda/acura brackets.
from searching, it appears as if high pressure line with port center slightly offset from imaginary line between two bolt holes will work, but i cannot find info on brackets or pulley diameters, etc.
i have hookup for almost new '01 gsr pump and mine is almost done i think.
and i have been searching since infoseek.com .
thanks in advance.

well, it appears as if the high pressure line is different anyway, but, neverthless, anyone know if this will bolt up so i can avoid buying beat used one and trying ?
It will bolt up to the engine just fine, but the high pressure line wont fit. '92 - '95 Civic and '94 - '97 Integra (all models) fit.
thanks 94eg8, if i use '01 integra high pressure line to match pump configuration will that line fit 95 civic rack ? the line has that whoop-de-doo curly q deal at the end, for i dont know why. thx again --
also, off topic, but do you know how to get tools/adapters to test 95 civic power steering pump pressure, i have searched everywhere for adapters and am having no luck.

That part I'm not sure about. There's a pretty good chance it will work.
Why not just find the right pump though? You can find them used for little or nothing from people removing their power steering or doing engine swaps.
