oil pump seal the same as front seal?
I have a d16y7 with an oil leak coming from the timing belt cover. The valve cover gasket and cam seal have been replaced so it's not that. My question is...is the front crankshaft seal the same as the oil pump seal? or will I have to by a new oil pump?
dThe front crank seal us the one behind the crank pulley and does sit in the pump. But there is another seal in the pump

17 most likely your issue 19 is also possible is the other seal

The reason why I ask is because my brother said he already replaced crankshaft seal.
They are independent but yes either can leak. Best bet is to clean it off and let it run, check to see where the leak is coming from.
#17 is the front crank seal you are asking about. It can be replaced without removal of the oil pump.
#19 is an internal O-ring. You must remove the oil pump to replace it.
Not shown is that the oil pump is sealed to the block by a bead of HondaBond.
Oil can leak from any of the three.
Therefore, you need to remove the crank pulley and timing belt covers to determine what must be done to fix the oil leak.
