2000 Honda Civic CX d16y7 Stock.

I have replaced camshaft seal/crankshaft seal/the o-ring behind the oil pump where it meets the block/oil pan gasket.

I'm honestly stumped..I started out by replacing just the crankshaft seal and it was still dripping behind the timing cover at the bottom so I ordered a brand new OEM seal..guess what..still leaking. SO I then removed all of the timing covers, the oil pump etc...replacing the o-ring behind the pump and another new crank shaft seal. Upon reinstallation I left the covers off so I could make certainty of where my oil leak was coming from. It is steadily dripping from behind my crankshaft pulley...There is no oil from the top of the oil pump to the top of the motor. What are my options here fellas? Perhaps the seal is not sealing in the oil pump so maybe I need an oil pump? Perhaps my crank shaft is actually moving around enough to make the seal leak? I find it hard to believe that option 2 is the answer but I could really use some help at this point.

Are you sure the oil leak is not from the oil pan gasket?

I'm certain. When I remove the crank pulley/belt/sprocket the oil line is from the crankshaft deal down. Its as if going right by the seal...I know the seal installed properly. Also a new OEM oil pump o-ring.

I'd be taking a magnifying glass to the crank and looking for nicks. Sounds like the new seals are getting damaged.

What are my options if this were the case belairbrian? Any way I can smooth it back down even slightly?

tiny nick can usually be smoothed by emery cloth. it really depends on how bad it is.
