Default Accord jerking/slipping

Hey everyone my dad just got his transmission fixed on his 2001 Accord and then a code for an O2 sensor popped up, we didn't change the O2 sensor yet but just recently when I drove the car and it's at a full stop, the car accelerates, jerks a bit and makes a small slipping sound then continues. Sometimes when I'm driving and go up to about 2500 rpm and hold the gas steady, the car jerks and the rpm jumps back and forth from 2500 to 2000 and back and forth. I was wondering if the O2 sensor caused this or if theres a transmission problem, I looked at the tranny dipstick but the fluid is at the top line of the little quarter inch mark on the dipstick. Any help would be great thanks.

Sean

No the O2 sensor would be unrelated. what work was done and why havent you taken it back to the mechanic who did the work yet? Have him make it right

I would still take it back. Is this occurring with your first few trips after it being in the shop? Its possible something wasnt plugged back in or is broken or loose like the VSS. The worse case is the swapped tranny has torque converter issues or bands inside that are not holding. How is your fuel mileage as well?

Do you mean a fluid change or changing out the entire transmission? Also, is it a V6 or 4 cylinder?

First it was just rough idling because of the O2 sensor but this just started happening on the weekend. And I got the actual transmission changed not the fluid. Also I didn't notice any differences in the fuel mileage and its a 4 cylinder.
