Default O2 SENSOR PROBLEMS: NEED HELP!!!!

i have a 93 accord with a complete jdm 95 h22 swap with ecu. i used a universal O2 sensor and it seems to be ok. after a couple of months, when i get on the car hard, the check engin light comes on. i check the code and it throws 1, which is the o2 sensor code. i checked all the wires and connections to the o2 sensor and they are all fine. when i reset the ecu it shows no coeds, but when i race, it comes on after a bit. is it because the o2 sensor is universal and not honda???? any ideas or suggestions???? please help, this problem is really killin me.

I had a 90 accord with the same swap(99 lude TYPE SH). If I got on the freeway and raced around for about 20 minutes. Try a test and tell me what happens..
TRy this.

press on the gas and hold it at 4500 RPMs. hold it for about 3 minutes. Do this when the car is warm. I had a factory O2 sensor and the car would kick a code and then iddle funny. U might have a burnt 02.

Good luck...
