engine knocking, plz help
After a HG swap huh?
If the noise wasn't present before the HG was replaced, your mechanical timing may be off. I'd look there first.
Is the check engine light on? If so, did you pull the codes?

It is in the right position, cuz u can only assemble the engine with hg in the right position and because I can still drive I assume its fine in that parameter.
Now for what I read, my engine is a 2003+ and my civic is a 2001 model, which means the hg can differ having egr or not ... the thing is the idle always stalling when I break after warmed up.... i dont have any of the problems when the engine is cold.

The thing is the car runs fine until I get to stop signs, and Im not mechanic inclined so It would be hard for me to do that kind of job i guess. I want somethig I can try like sensors or som stuff on the easy side.
