bad idle.. IACV?
hello,
So my teggy has a high idle. somewhere around 1350rpm.
I did the idle reset procedure by unplugging the IACV and adjusting the idle to 650ish, reset ecu and letting it run for like 10minutes.. NOTE: I had to screw the adjuster on the TB completely in to get it to 650rpm
Took it for a drive and found idle is still high.. 1350. Stopped the car and unplugged the IACV which resulted in a steady 750rpm idle... Does this mean my IACV has gone bad? cause it's only supposed to drop like 100rpm whith unplugged IACV right? I get a difference of 600rpm's! whith IACV unplugged.
I'm also planning on replacing all of the vacuum lines since they seem a bit dry. Dont know if the big difference in idle with IACV on/off could be because of a vacuum leak somewhere??
*IACV has been removed and cleaned
Thanks
