Default Low compression no start help.

I bought a no start civic.

I got a new battery and it will crank good.

I did a conprrssion test and got
60-50-50-120

No mixed coolant or oil, no other symptoms...

Could a bad HG do this-make car loose 100 psi-If so could I see it when cranking engine with rad cap off?

Also valves are good as it just got a new HG and valve...(according to previous owner)

Could bad timing do this? Would it make any conpression if timing was off?

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Add year Civic and engine to your post.

Then do a cylinder leak down test.

Whatever the previous owner said is all bs unless you know and trust the guy or you have actual receipts from a shop.

As stated above, first thing to do is a leakdown test.
