As the title states, trying to figure a way out to get a bit more clearance under car. the lowest part right now is exhaust system and it drags just driving at times. I have heard of people using new mounts or spacing stock mounts some to get more clearance.

My question is what mounts? or spacers? how much can I go? Anything else need changed if i raise motor?

 

Well, common sense would tell you to raise the car up...but since you want to do things the hard, stupid way, just put washers in the motor mounts. It might mess with your rear torque mount, since that's a 4 point mount, but hey, you want to do it the hard way...
