hi,i just bought a 93 delsol si, it has been siting for 5 years in someones driveway.I pulled the gas tank,put in a new fuel pump,If i turn the key everything cuts on but wont start.no noise at the starter.I can can start it if i run a cable from the battery to the solenoid.any ideals?

 

Check rubber stopper at the top of the clutch pedal. Did it fall out?

 

no it still has stopper,gets fuel ,that would mean the main relay is ok ,right?

 

The clutch pedal has two separate switches if the car has cruise control. You're interested in the topmost stopper/switch.

The main relay has nothing to do with the starter.

Test the clutch pedal switch that presses on the rubber stopper.

 

That was it man !!!! I didnt see that top switch.You nailed it !!! Thanks RonJ@HT
