del Sol won't start
Jumper cables had no effect so I push started it with a buddy. The car runs fine and all electrical components function normally. I replaced the starter and battery, but it still will not start. I checked both inside and under-hood fuses, and visually inspected the wiring.
Next thing to check is the clutch switch, but I first have a question. I can hear the solenoid clicking when I attempt to start the car. Would it still be clicking if the clutch switch is bad?
Just trying to spare myself time spent underneath the dash. Thanks in advance!

the clutch switch doesnt click..the sound you hearing is the the fuel pump priming, its the main relay thats clicking...have you checked your alternator, cause you said jumper cables had no effect..ubt you could push start it

I just jumped the clutch switch with a paper clip and it still will not crank. Would a bad alternator really keep it from cranking? I didn't think to check it since the battery was fully charged.
