B20vtec swapping to b18c5 in dc2 gsr. Help plz

Default B20vtec swapping to b18c5 in dc2 gsr. Help plz

I bought a jdm frontend gsr a few months ago and it has a b20vtec with a 92 gsr p61 ecu. Im sure its tuned for the b20 but not sure how or on what(hondadata....) I just bought a rebuilt b18c5 (fresh from machine shop, new cp low compression pistons, new alc bearings,eagle rods,arp bolts and head studs, oem head gasket, main seal and all other gaskets. So I'm told) but it looks brand new again . My buddie from work will be installing the c5 later this week but I'm wondering how to break the new motor in ?? And if I can drive on my p61 to get it tuned?. I'm sure my b20 p61 is tuned cuz runs real rich (I got air fuel gauge.glow shift) until 3-4500rpm it runs rich and after that goes into optimal just still fully in rich side just goes into optimal. And vtec hits at 5-5200rpm. Can I break in the new motor on this or drive to the tuner (25km away). Thanks alot for any info I've been looking but can't find same thing I'm going threw. Thank you Honda tech my best friend for last 4 years
