hi i just swapped an engine and auto tranny in my brother inlaws car. car starts fine but when u hit the throttle it dies. you can get it to rev up if u feather the throttle really fast. acts like the fuel is shut off when it dies. any info would be greatly appreciated.

 

Is this a four or six cyl car?

 

4 cylinder. I just tested the plug to the iacv and got no continuity on terminal one the back/blue wire so im going out now to replace it

 

Two most common issues that happen during a swap that leave you with the issues you are describing. The MAP and TPS connectors are switched - what are the wire colors you have plugged into the MAP sensor?

Next, G101 on the drivers end of the plenum is left off or loose.
