So I've searched high and low for the answer, but I can't find it anywhere. I have a 2000 civic sedan with power doors that I bought from a guy who'd recovered it from a theft. Everything inside was stolen, including doors, (they weren't nice about removing the doors, they just went in and cut the pigtails) I sourced some 98 power doors, with the pigtails everything hooked up great, except for 5 wires on the driver's door. A blue w/white and blue w/red on the 00 floor harness, and a yellow w/red, thin blue w/yellow, and a white w/green on the 98 pigtail. Can anyone tell me what those are for and where to hook them up? Or please link me to a post that explains this? I'm afraid to apply power and start moving switches, I don't need it to cost me anymore than it already has. Much appreciated.

 

You would have done better to get 99-00 Civic door harnesses. Locate the 96-00 Civic manual. It will tell you what the stray wires are for.
