Default B16A2 Factory Airbox

Hey all,

I've got a 2000 Civic SiR, and I'm concerned the intake setup on the car is going to suck up water this winter and ruin my engine. To protect against that, I'd like to get a factory airbox setup to safeguard against this. Only problem is that finding the factory setup is proving to be rather challenging. B18 factory setups are easy to find however. Will this setup fit my car and motor or will I just need to buy a warm air intake to use in the winter months (I'm not worried about after winter as the car will be seeing boost)

Any help would be appreciated

Yes it should fit, but I still suggest finding the stock airbox. Might I suggest looking for the ex/hx honda civic airbox? Or the honda crv airbox?

I guess the biggest hamper I've had is I've just been checking at auto wreckers around town. CRV should be a non issue. Will have to see what I can dig up though
