Default Temp. gauge issue

The other day, while replacing some bulbs in my cluster, during the removal process, my Temp. gauge needle came off my cluster?! After I finished installing the new bulbs, I took off the clear cover and re-installed the needle. Now the needle is always on the "H". The coolant system is in good shape, and is not overheating. Is there some way to "dial in" the needle? Thanks.
