Default D15b2 intake manifold gasket keeps splitting

My intake manifold gasket split just underneath the small coolant port, which caused it to start slowly leaking coolant when the engine ran. I recently replaced the gasket with another OEM new gasket, and it was fine for a few months, but now the exact same thing has happened again!

I torqued the intake bolts to spec, so I don't think that is why they are splitting. Anyone have any theories as to why this keeps happening?

EDIT: Sorry mods, this is for my 90' CRX and I accidentally put it in wrong forum.

Hmmm that stumps me because the OEM ones have the rubber insert for that spot. Any chance that part on the manifold (or head) isn't flat?

Sorry, reading owned me on that one. Didn't even notice you stated OEM.

Did you ever figure this out? I have 10k miles on my d15b2 rebuild and it just started leaking in the same spot. Wondering if it's just a crappy gasket or if there's more to it.

thanks.

What do you think the odds are that this random guy will come back after two years to answer your question?

Regular typically means that you poop daily. Irregular is when you don't take a dump for an entire week. I got into an accident last year and was hospitalized for a few days. Once I came out, I swear to God, I didn't take a dump for two straight weeks. That's what you would call irregular..... doctors said that due to the medication I was taking, that was perfectly okay though.
